Jean Appolon's Afro-Haititan Dance class has expanded to Monday nights!

March 16, 2014

'Over the past fifteen years, Jean has succeeded in creating a vibrant and supportive community brought together by his weekly Saturday Afro-Haitian class at The Dance Complex. It’s a loose network of hundreds of people, 75 of which attend class on any given Saturday. The students are a multicultural rainbow of all ages, shapes, genders and abilities. It is a communal celebration through dance and music.'

This energy and spirit has found an additional home to come together with a class now offered on Monday nights at IBA’s Villa Victoria Center for the Arts in Boston (85 W. Newton 02118).

We encourage you to come experience the release and uplifting experience if you have yet to take one of Appolon's classes. If you are already familiar we recommend coming by the Villa Victoria to experience the love in a different space with room to grow!

Classes are at 7:30, come at 6:00 for Haitian Drumming with Master Percussionist Joel August.
